TS-11 Iskra

A plastic model of the first Polish jet-powered aircraft was made in 1:48 scale. At the 12th International Festival of Plastic Reduction Models Bytom 2015, the model took first place in its category in the "Euro Cup", received one of the special awards and received a distinction.

The TS-11 Iskra is a training plane produced in the years 1963-1987 by WSK "PZL Mielec". The plane broke three world speed records in 1964. It is used by the Polish Military Aviation until today (April 2015). It has a reputation for being a very good aircraft for training military pilots. 424 copies were produced, 50 of which were exported to India.
