Cardboard model of the German Sd.Kfz.222 armored vehicle

The model of the Sd.Kfz.222 armored vehicle was made in 1:25 scale. The work was presented at the 8th Competition of Paper and Plastic Models in Świdnik, Poland in 2014.

The Sd.Kfz.222 was a light armored reconnaissance vehicle with four-wheel drive. At least 990 copies were produced between 1937 and 1943. They were used by reconnaissance battalions of armored divisions. They operated well in countries with a developed road network, e.g. in Western Europe. The Sd.Kfz.222 vehicles had a low ability to move around off road. For this reason, they were of little use on the Eastern Front and in North Africa.
