Faun L900 and Sd.Kfz. 7

The models shown in the photos were built in 1:35 scale from two different kits. Models of the Faun L900 truck and the Sd.Ah. 115 semitrailer were made from the Das Werk box, and the Sd.Kfz. 7 half-track vehicle was built from the Trumpeter set.

During the building of the models, no additional kits to enrich were used. The exception are the tarpaulins covering the models, which were made of tissues soaked in thinned Wikol glue. After drying, the wipes keep their shape well.

The photos represent models of German military vehicles from the Second World War.

The L900 truck was a heavy truck produced by Faun. It was even used to transport tanks. The trucks were produced in the years 1934-1937, and remained in use until the end of the war.

The Sd.Kfz. 7 was an artillery tractor that could tow cannons weighing up to 8 tons (UK-7.9 tons, USA-8.8 tons) and carried cannon's crew (up to 12 people). There was a compartment for artillery ammunition in the rear part of the vehicle . The photos show the door to this compartment.
