The Last Flight - Vietnam 1967
The 1:72 scale diorama shows a plastic model of the American UH-1 B Huey helicopter from the Italeri kit. The figurines in the diorama are also from various Italeri kits. Photoetched plates from Eduard were used to enrich the model. Boxes, fire extinguishers, antennas and ammunition belts were made from scratch.
The scene shown in the diorama was invented by the modeller. This is the Vietnam War period.
The diorama has won numerous awards at modeling competitions:
- 2nd place in the helicopter category at the 13th Kłodzko Model Makers' Meeting in 2012,
- 2nd place in the aviation dioramas category at the 2nd National Modeling Festival Warsaw 2009,
- 1st place in the aviation dioramas category at the Polish Championships of Reduced Plastic Models in Gniezno 2009,
