Wrocławska Street in Lubań in 1945

The diorama represents the Soviet ISU 122 self-propelled gun standing on Wrocławska Street in Lubań, Poland in March 1945. It was made in 1:35 scale, based on a photograph in the book by Arkadiusz Wilczyński entitled "Lubań 1945 Ostatnie Zwycięstwo III Rzeszy".

Styrofoam and gypsum were used to build the front of the tenement house. The dimensions of the armored vehicle are known. It was possible to determine the dimensions of the building, the size of the cornices, the spacing of the windows, etc., on the basis of proportions. The bricks were cast in gypsum stained with acrylic paint.

The armored vehicle is a plastic model from the Dragon set, enriched with photo-etched elements from the Aber.
