Ardennes 1944
The diorama was built in 1:35 scale and shows WWII fictive scene.
There are two plastic models of German military vehicles on the diorama. The first of them is the Grille Ausf. H self-propelled gun and the second is the Sd.Kfz. 251 Ausf.D half-track armored personal carrier. Both models were built from the Dragon kits.
The Grille Ausf. H version was being produced in Germany in 1943. There were built 91 copies. Its gun had a caliber of 150 mm (5.91 in). Inside the vehicle, the supply of projectiles was 15 pieces. The vehicle had a 6-cylinder petrol engine with a power of 147 HP (110 kW). On the road it could travel at a speed of 35 km/h (21.75 mph). The greatest thickness of its hull armor was 50 mm, and the superstructure armor was 25 mm. The vehicle's weight was 11,500 kg. The crew consisted of 4 people.
The Sd.Kfz. 251 armored personnel carrier was being produced throughout World War II. In total, over 14,000 copies of all versions were produced. The vehicle had a 6-cylinder petrol engine with a power of 100 HP (75 kW). It could travel at a speed of 51 km/h (31.69 mph) on the road and 21 km/h (13.05 mph) off-road. The thickness of the armor was from 6 to 14.5 mm (0.24 to 0.57 in). The vehicle's weight was 7,000 kg (15,432 lb). The transporter had a two-person crew and could carry 10 soldiers on board.
