Diorama with a plastic model of the Panzer IV

The diorama was made based on a photo from a book. Unfortunately, there is no information about book, because the diorama was built quite a long time ago. In any case, it is known that the photo was taken on April 14, 1941 and showed a destroyed German Pz.Kpfw. IV Ausf. D standing on the outskirts of Tobruk.

The plastic model of the tank was glued together in a 1:35 scale from the Dragon set. The model was enriched with photo-etched plates from Aber and resin parts from CMK.

The tree visible in the diorama was made from the root of some plant.

The Panzerkampfwagen IV was the main German tank throughout World War II. From 1938 to the end of the war in 1945, over 9,000 copies in various versions were produced.
