German Paratroopers in the Ardennes in 1944
The diorama was made in a 1:16 scale based on photos found on the Internet. A group of German paratroopers armed with variety of German and captured weapons moves somewhere through Belgium to rejoin their battle group.
The paratrooper figures were converted from resin figures from Jeffshiu's Miniatures sets, and the tank commander and motorcyclist figures were made from scratch. The tank model in the diorama was also built from scratch. This is the model of the King Tiger, i.e. Tiger II. The Zundapp 750 motorcycle model was made of resin.
