Plastic model of the Panzerwerfer 42 rocket launcher
The diorama was made in 1:35 scale and depicts an imaginary scene from the Second World War. On the diorama there is the plastic model of the German Panzerwerfer 42 self-propelled rocket launcher, built using the sWS half-track vehicle. The earlier version of this launcher was building on the chassis of the Opel Maultier half-track vehicle.
The vehicle model was glued together from the Bronco Models kit. Figures of soldiers, ammunition and other accessories visible on the diorama are resin details from the kit of the American Verlinden Productions company.
There is the plastic model of the 15 cm rocket launcher on the diorama. The ammunition for such the launcher was high-explosive shells weighing 34.7 kg (76.5 lb).
