Shingen Takeda
The resin bust of Shingen Takeda was made from a set by the Ademola 22. The size of the statuette is 200 mm. Apart from small patterns made with acrylic paints with the addition of a retarder, the bust was painted with oil paints. When decorating the figurine, no decals were used. All patterns are hand-painted.
Shingen Takeda lived from 1521-1573. He was one of the feudal lords of medieval Japan. He was using the name Shingen at the end of his life, when he became interested in Buddhism. At birth, he was given the name Katsuchiyo. and as he entered adulthood he was given the new name Harunobu.
He had tactical and strategic skills. Already at the age of 20, after removing his father from power, he began to expand the territory of his family. He did it persistently for the rest of his life. He died during the siege of Noda Castle. Probably from natural causes, although there are sources claiming gunshot wounds were the cause.
Due to his military talents, he has become a famous historical figure who is used in movies and computer games. His character is still respected in his homeland.
