Bn2t Freudenstein
A cardboard model of the German Bn2t Freudenstein narrow-gauge steam locomotive was made in 1:25 scale. The work was awarded at the 9th Competition of Cardboard and Plastic Models in Świdnik, Poland, in April 2015.
The locomotive was built in 1904 in Berlin by "Stahlbahnwerke Freudenstein & Co. Akt.-Ges." that was founded by Julius Freudenstein. The machine had a serial number "174" and was commissioned by the Grand Duchy of Oldenburg Railway, where it received the designation "3". In 1925, the German railways changed the markings of the entire rolling stock. Then the locomotive, the paper model of which is in the pictures, was given the number "99021". In 1942, the locomotive was sent to the Eastern Front, where probably ended its life or was taken over by the Russians. It was included in the war losses in 1944. About 300 such locomotives were manufactured in the above-mentioned factory.
