Plastic model of the E-100 tank

The model represents in the photos was made in 1:35 scale from the Trumpeter kit. The model was enriched with parts from the Voyager and metal tracks from the Friulmodel.

The E-100 super-heavy tank was a part of a German unfinished project to build a new series of armored vehicles of various sizes. Super-heavy means that the weight of the tank was between 130-140 tons (UK-128-138 tons, USA-143-154 tons).

Only the chassis was built for the E-100 tank. On the Internet you can view photos of the specimen took over by the British at the end of World War II. According to the plans, a modified Maus turret was to be placed on such a chassis.
